VW Unveils Fourth-Generation Caddy Van

In February this year, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles AG showcased the fourth generation of the hugely popular Caddy for the first time in Hannover. Around 1.5 million of the award-winning previous generations were sold worldwide during its eleven years in production. It is a success that the new Caddy intends to continue; the urban delivery van and its privately-used brother have been enhanced and refined in every area.

Key Features of the New Caddy

• New cutting-edge exterior design, dominated by a new front facia with a larger grille that is flanked by restyled headlights, a new rear bumper with restyled taillights and a redesigned tail gate.

• A completely redesigned dashboard, featuring the latest Volkswagen design elements.

• Latest infotainment systems, including standardised Bluetooth connectivity.

• Many new safety features, including a standardised passenger airbag on the commercial derivatives and Automatic Post-Collision Braking System.

• State-of-the-art technology for maximum efficiency, convenience and improved fuel economy.

• Volkswagen Genuine AutoMotion Service Plans standard on the commercial derivatives.

Enhancements to the New Caddy Model Line-up.

• Crew Bus: Introduce short wheelbase versions in 5- and 7-seater configurations, in both petrol and diesel.

• Maxi Crew Bus: Introduce a DSG® model to extend the product offering.

• Maxi Panel Van: Introduce a DSG® model to extend the product offering.

• Maxi Panel Van Sport: Introduce a Sport derivative with 16” alloy wheels, front fog lights and body-coloured door mirrors and bumpers.

• Alltrack: The Cross Caddy will be replaced by the Caddy Alltrack and will also be available in a DSG® model to extend the product offering.
